Platforms

To own a platform has a lot of advantages to other solutions. The base of a platform takes not so much as some might suppose.
If you are just a member of a platform you are always hit by mistakes, changes, rules and so on made by the owner of the platform.
Make your own rules concerning pay systems (PayPal, Klarna, Visa, ...) or shipping conditions (DHS, Hermes, UPS, ...),
but be still part for any other platform like (Amazon, Google, Shopify, ...).

Clouds / WebServices

If you do not place your platform on-premises, you have to chose a host,
who provides the neccessary space.

On-Premises / Cloud / Hybrid

There are two ways to install a platform and a combination of these two:
- On-Premises (the server resides in your office/premises)
- Cloud (the server resides in a cloud)
- Hybrid (some of the applications reside in the cloud and some on-premises)
